America is a vast, ecologically diverse country with so much to see. With advanced highway infrastructure and relatively affordable gas, the road-trip has been a key fixture of American culture since just after the completion of the interstate highway system. Our story that you will be reading over the next month and a half is a story of struggle, adventure, maturation and fun. I won’t bore you with the story of how our trip came to be, and all of the planning and packing. Lets get into the fun stuff!
Day One:
PA,NJ,NY Tri-State Marker:
Lunch at the tri-state marker, nothing special, just a neat little stop.
Scranton, PA
A little drive-by stop in Scranton, PA. Of course, in Scranton, you’ve gotta see something related to the office.
Camping in Kaystown Lake, PA:
One of the most beautiful campsites we’ve ever had and by far the best sight of the first day.
Day Two:
Washington DC:
Day Three:
Backwater Falls State Park:
Tudors Biscuit World:
Tudors biscuit world was a unique dining experience as the restaurant functioned as a drive though diner. You could get chicken fried steak and scrambled eggs in the drive through in under 5 minutes!
Mystery Hole:
The Mystery Hole is a stereotypical tourist trap we encountered on the side of the road in West Virginia. With seemingly gravity-defying rooms and a redneck aesthetic, the Mystery Hole made for an amazing time.
Awesome.. more Red shirt guy pointing at stuff!!!!
So happy to see the adventure unfold!
